In today’s rapidly developing construction industry, the cost management of engineering projects has gradually turned to the application of intelligent technology, which not only reflects the extensive penetration of information technology but also shows the continuous innovation and progress of modern management concepts. This research takes the intelligent technology of engineering cost management as the research object and deeply discusses the key technologies of intelligent cost control and management, including data collection and processing, cost prediction, risk assessment, real-time monitoring, and other aspects, and how they can be applied in engineering projects. At the same time, the current application status and existing problems in this field in China are deeply analyzed, and feasible countermeasures are put forward. Through the prospect of the future trend, this paper also provides suggestions for the intelligent transformation of engineering cost management, which has certain theoretical value and practical significance.
