The proposed work describes the development of a calculable resistor also known as quadrifilar resistance, designed for use as an AC resistance standard, particularly at audio and radio frequencies. This resistor exhibits frequency dependence due to parasitic inductance and capacitance resulting from its construction and geometry. A quadrifilar resistance has been designed, fabricated and characterized for its temperature dependence and stability at 1 kHz using LCR Meter.
