This study investigates an energy harvesting strategy based on cell reconfiguration method, extendable to battery pack and blocks. The reconfiguration algorithm as validated through simulation, with results demonstrating improvements in output voltage and extended usage time. We conducted the tests on 24 cells with MATLAB Simulink for proof of concept purposes, on 8 and 4 cells, conducted the experiment on 4 cells for validation and comparison with simulation results. The results showed an increase use time by 12min, and a low power need from the energy harvester of 4.79% of total available power.
