As a hallmark of the digital era, it provides various service models like Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS), catering to diverse user requirements. These models empower industries to leverage big data analytics, the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning to drive innovation. The key benefits of cloud computing include its scalability, allowing dynamic resource allocation for optimal efficiency; enhanced accessibility that promotes remote collaboration and boosts productivity; and a pay-as-you-go model that reduces upfront infrastructure costs. However, challenges remain. Issues such as hidden costs, vendor lock-in, data breaches, downtime, and security vulnerabilities can hinder its effective implementation. Cloud computing presents both significant opportunities and critical challenges.
