Batch Verification in Cloud: A Review and a Comparative Study
摘要
The world of supply chain logistics, the internet of things, blockchains, and other related technologies are inextricably linked to cloud computing and security. Data outsourcing to cloud servers has encountered an unprecedented increase in clients as cloud storage becomes increasingly popular. There is a significant risk to the safety or confidentiality of the data stored in cloud computing infrastructures. Users lose direct control over their personal information because the data is stored on the cloud provider’s infrastructure. Data integrity assurance is essential for protecting user data, especially when it is maintained in public cloud servers. Since there are multiple individuals monitoring the security of data at once, batch verification is crucial. The rapid development of deduplication approaches is being motivated by the tremendous expansion and enhanced rate of data duplication on cloud platforms. This paper presents a review and a comparative analysis of batch verification techniques, focusing on identifying a cost-effective deduplication method. The paper suggests a secure blockchain approach to enhance data verification, ensuring both efficiency and security in handling duplicate records. Additionally, it explores potential directions for the economic growth in the future research in this field.
