This research project analyzes consumer behaviors and preferences regarding sustainable clothing in Uttar Pradesh, India. This study examines the level of knowledge and comprehension of sustainable clothing among 384 participants through a survey-based approach. Additionally, the investigation examines the various factors that influence participants’ perceptions and preferences regarding sustainable clothing. The present research utilizes SPSS (version 22) applications to implement a range of statistical techniques like regression analysis, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and descriptive analysis. With a focus on perceived value, motivation, and environmental awareness, this study aims to investigate the factors that influence the consumption of sustainable clothing. The study aims to offer insightful information about the relationship between these parameters and sustainable garment consumption through the application of these methodologies. The findings presented here make a substantial contribution to the existing literature on the connection between consumer behavior and sustainability in the fashion sector. The findings illuminate this connection, offering valuable insights that could assist policymakers in developing and implementing effective strategies to promote sustainable apparel purchases among consumers.
