Application of the Internet of Things Concept for the Organization of the UAV Control Channel
摘要
The article suggests using the concept of Internet of Things to create a control channel for an unmanned aerial vehicle. The essence of the idea is that the operator can interact with an unmanned aerial vehicle via the Internet using a remote server that is connected to the unmanned aerial vehicle and the control point. This will make it possible to geographically separate the operator and the unmanned aerial vehicle, eliminate the need to allocate a separate frequency range for communication with the unmanned aerial vehicle and the need to develop their own communication channels. In addition, the concept of the Internet of Things makes it possible to combine many unmanned aerial vehicles into a single network, which will allow them to interact without direct human involvement, make decisions based on data received from other unmanned aerial vehicles in the system. When developing a control channel for a mechatronic system for an unmanned aerial vehicle, control is carried out via a Wi-Fi network, however, this method is also applicable for cellular communications of GSM, GPRS, UMTS and LTE standards. The main results of the work are algorithms and schemes for control and monitoring of UAVs, program interface and software modules.
