Super High Angle of Attack Test Technology for Tri-sonic Wind Tunnel

A set of upper mounted super high angle of attack test system based on the principle of crank slider motion was developed on the special test section of 1.2 m scale tri-sonic wind tunnel. The design scheme and advantages of the super high angle of attack mechanism are presented, and the techniques and key points of high angle of attack force measurement and jet testing are elaborated. The wind tunnel test verification and application test results show that the system design is reasonable, the angle of attack continuously changes within a large range, the blockage degree is small, the test data is reliable, and it has the ability to measure force and jet flow at high angles of attack, effectively expanding the test range of the 1.2 m tri-sonic wind tunnel.
