Chronic post-rhinoplasty neuropathic pain (CPRNP) is persistent pain beyond the normal healing period, affecting a small subset of patients, particularly Asians undergoing multiple surgeries. It often involves osteotomy-related nerve damage, such as to the ophthalmic or maxillary branches of the trigeminal nerve. Effective management requires a multidisciplinary approach, combining anticonvulsants, antidepressants, nerve blocks, and cognitive-behavioral therapy to address both physical and psychological aspects.
