Durability Evaluation of Cement Paste with Ginger by Adding Defoaming Agent
摘要
One of the problems with mixing ginger powder into cement-paste is the generation of air bubbles. To solve this problem, a defoaming agent was incorporated to improve performance. The Cl− entry inhibition and bioadhesion properties were examined in exposure tests under marine environments. The results showed that Cl− entry inhibition tended to decrease as the amount of ginger powder incorporated increased. Although bioadhesion decreased with the addition of ginger powder, the difference in bioadhesion became almost negligible after 3 months.
