Recent Developments in Glucose Detection Technologies: Advancements and Implications for Human Health
摘要
The purpose of this review is to investigate the revolutionary breakthroughs that have occurred in the monitoring of blood glucose, with a specific emphasis on the transition from traditional methods to cutting-edge technology. An examination of recent advancements in optical and electrochemical glucose sensors is presented, with a particular focus on the evolution of these sensors toward non-invasive and patient-friendly designs. Significant focus is placed on wearable glucose monitors and their role in diabetes management. Furthermore, an evaluation is conducted to determine how well these technologies integrate with digital health platforms, with a particular focus on patient-centered approaches. We made an effort to highlight the challenges that are now being faced, with a particular emphasis on accuracy and dependability while also taking into consideration potential future paths. This comprehensive review has been carried out with the intention of providing a glimpse into the future of healthcare in relation to the cutting-edge technologies that are used for monitoring glucose levels. This glimpse will highlight how diabetes management will become more integrated, patient-centered, and streamlined in the future.
