IoT and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs)
摘要
The evolution of the mobile network system, its widespread coverage, and the fundamental IoT infrastructure that serves as the foundation for newfound creativity have facilitated the introduction of novelties into Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) and the broader Internet of Things (IoT) landscape. The rise of 5G networking has opened up new technology areas such as big data, virtualization, IoT, and virtual reality services. As a result of this progress, more than 75 billion networking devices are expected to be in use worldwide by 2025 [1]. 5G networks support greater frequencies and better spectrum efficiency than previous technologies like 3G and 4G. As we move closer to 5G, developing new protocols and guidelines to monitor and indicate support for novel applications is critical. Because of their extensive connectivity, 5G networks make it possible to mass deploy a diverse range of networking devices [2–4].
