The software bug prediction is the main component of the (SDLC) Software Development Life Cycle. Without that it isn’t possible for the developer to identify bug that will cause serious issue in software application. It will lead to the customer software failure and dissatisfaction of customer. The problem with the software arises when it is not possible to predict bug on the right time. Also another problem comes with the Software maintainability which is essential part of SDLC. Software maintainability describes the simplicity with which an application can be adapted, upgraded, or refined over time. This paper presents an abstract overview of the methodologies and techniques employed in soft bug prediction and maintainability practices. By integrating bug prediction techniques into the software development lifecycle and adopting best practices for maintainability, organizations can enhance the reliability, standard and sustainability of their software suite. This abstract provides a foundation for further exploration and implementation of these concepts in practical software engineering contexts.

摘要
