Routing Protocols are pivotal in development of robust and efficient networks, particularly in mobile-ad-hoc networks. In our research, we delved into the behavioural analysis of Fisheye and RIP routing protocols within mobile ad-hoc networks, a crucial aspect for network efficiency and reliability. Through extensive simulations using QualNet software, we aimed to evaluate and analyse their performance based on key metrics such as Convergence Time and Bandwidth Usage. By conducting thorough analyses across various network scenarios and traffic conditions, we gained insights into how both protocols behave and their effectiveness. Our findings offer valuable insights into the strengths and weaknesses of Fisheye and RIP, providing guidance for network designers and researchers in selecting the most suitable routing protocol for different MANET applications. This research contributes a comprehensive assessment Fisheye and RIP routing protocols in MANETs, empowering informed decision-making for network deployments and protocol improvements.
