Blended learning, explained as the mixture of physical and digital education, is rapidly getting renowned in educational institutions worldwide. This paper explores the applications, methodologies, and challenges associated with blended learning. It provides a detailed recap of the present state of blended learning, evaluates its effectiveness in enhancing student engagement and academic performance, and identifies key challenges faced by both educators and learners. This paper discusses mixed-methods approach involving student surveys, focus-group interviews, and Learning Management System (LMS) data analysis. The data were analyzed using SPSS, with reliability assessed via Cronbach’s alpha (0.810), and the results were supported by descriptive statistics and LMS analysis. The findings indicate that students in blended learning environments showed higher levels of cognitive engagement (88%) and technological efficacy (88.4%) compared to traditional learning settings. Additionally, the blended learning group achieved better academic performance with higher overall course outcomes (71% versus 67%). The paper also examines future directions for blended learning, highlighting the need for thoughtful design and implementation to maximize its benefits. This study offers valuable insights into how blended learning can be optimized to meet diverse educational needs and adapt to evolving technological landscapes.
