This study aims to evaluate the impact of the transition from kerosene stoves to 3-kg LPG cylinders on the health status of the community in general, and women in particular. The energy transition will not necessarily improve women's health significantly due to the complex relationship between the transition and women’s health. Using panel data from the Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) for 2007 and 2014, the ordered response model and difference-in-differences method were applied. In general, public health conditions have worsened, and women's health is more vulnerable than that of men. This can be seen from the impact of the transition, which has not had a significant impact on women's health. Good and fair transition governance is the key to the success of this process, especially for women.

摘要
