International Transport Corridors (ITCs) are the vital highways of communication in today’s world. Security is necessary for ITCs to achieve economic goals. Conflicts, wars, and insecurity fail ITCs to achieve their goals. BRI as one of the most important international corridors has an undeniable role in transportation. On the other hand, as the gateway to Europe, Ukraine is one of the important centers in the development of the BRI. However, Since the Russia-Ukraine war in 2022, the importance of this center has been challenged. The main question is, what effect has this war had on the activity process of the BRI? The authors hypothesize that this war caused irreparable damages to the stability and economic benefits of BRI and forced China to using from alternative ways.
