This chapter undertakes a review and consolidation of the studies presented in the previous chapters into guidelines for the introduction and conduct of AI into VET programmes of learning. The corpus of data collected through participative action research reported in the previous chapters is formatted into cases. Each case details the parameters, context, approaches, and learning environments and collates industry, learner and teacher perspectives and insights. Case study theory building is used to identify commonalities and/or outliers influencing the initial learning design and learning approaches. The analysis is then synthesised into guidelines to further inform pedagogical implications and ways forward for the integration of AI into VET learning programmes. In doing so, the guidelines/recommendations are informed by the collation of perspectives from industry needs, and learner feedback, along with ideas and contributions from VET teacher experiences. Therefore, the guidelines are of relevance towards the contemporary development of Gen AI integration into the VET curriculum and pedagogy. The chapter closes with a brief discussion on the possibilities Gen AI presents for supporting VET.
