The convergence of Internet of Things (IoT) and 5G technologies marks a significant leap in digital infrastructure, poised to transform sectors such as healthcare, smart cities, and industrial automation. IoT enables device interconnection, facilitating automation and real-time data exchange, while 5G offers ultra-fast speeds, low latency, and extensive connectivity essential for complex IoT networks. This paper explores the integration of IoT with 5G, highlighting improvements in efficiency and responsiveness through features like network slicing and edge computing. Despite the promising benefits, challenges such as security, privacy, and infrastructure must be addressed to fully realize the potential of IoT-5G integration.
