The legal value objectives and function mechanism of IPRs not only exist in the legal documents of IPRs in the form of legislative purposes and provisions, but also should be manifested in the application of intellectual property law and legal activities in the form of operational regulations and behavioural rules. Starting from the above idea, the analysis of the legal value of IPRs is mainly concerned with the conceptual instruments of relevant legal values, their substantive objectives, and the pathways to their realisation.
