摘要

A recent clustering algorithm partitioned local depth (PaLD) is used to discriminate between earthquakes and explosions. We apply PaLD to analyze the seismograms of a set of mining explosions, reported in catalogs as earthquakes, and contrast them with natural earthquakes that occurred in the same region.
