Moreover, the filtering problems for T-S fuzzy systems has also been widely studied within the framework of Lyapunov theory. For example, Refs. [3, 4]. However, it should be explained that the results mentioned above were presented based on the quadratic Lyapunov functions, which have been proved to be some conservatism. Therefore, it is necessary to explore new Lyapunov functions to reduce the conservatism.
