Failure can be catastrophic if right corrective and preventive action is not taken up timely. Vibration monitoring is an essential condition monitoring technique for high-speed rotating equipment. For any high-speed rotating equipment, it is experienced that failure may be immediate or sudden due to incorrect/ improper maintenance activity. Continuous online vibration monitoring is very helpful in providing alerts and diagnostic solutions for critical process equipment, and found one of the best options, considering below mentioned cases: condition monitoring of troubled assets, condition monitoring of critical assets, condition monitoring of hard to access assets, condition monitoring of difficult to source assets. This online vibration system must have intelligent fault diagnosis systems to detect and identify root cause of the problem.
