摘要

This research study aims to explore alternative materials used in construction of housing for Air Independent Propulsion (AIP) Phosphoric Acid Fuel Cells (PAFCs), with the goal of enhancing the submerged endurance and operational capabilities of submarine. The development of indigenous AIP system that uses Phosphoric Acid Fuel Cell marks major advancement in naval technology, which holds the potential to transform underwater warfare. This paper explores alternative materials for housing manufacturing with high specific strength compared to that of the traditional ones. By examining material selection, fabrication techniques and challenges, this research aims to enhance housing technology and promote innovation in underwater propulsion systems.
