A Smart Drainage Systems Integrating AI and Diverse Techniques

A drainage system is designed as a network for collecting and transporting excess water to prevent issues like flooding and environmental damage. Artificial intelligence, in this regard, modernizes management of drainage systems by automating tasks that, traditionally, have been performed manually for most institutions, meaning improvement of efficiency and safety. All currently existing systems rely on scheduled maintenance and manual monitoring which in most cases lead to flooded or even partially blocked systems. The proposed AI-driven methodology uses advanced sensors along with real-time data collection and predictive analytics to monitor the drainage system, thus identifying probable failure before it occurs. The development has significantly increased the reliability of the system, reduced its operational costs, and enhanced public health by avoiding waterborne hazards. By reducing urban flooding through urban drainage management, the suggested AI-integrated system is especially helpful for public health and safety and helps to make infrastructure operations more sustainable and effective.
