The Impact of IoT on the Efficiency, Security, and User Adoption of Mobile Payment System
摘要
Integration of the Internet of Things into mobile payment systems has changed the way transactions are carried out. Mobile payment systems are becoming efficient, secure, and convenient, thus changing the nature of business and how it is operated. This research delves into the influence of IoT-enabled mobile payments based on how perceived convenience and security affect user trust and adoption. The study indicated that IoT enables real-time transactions, automates processes, and enhances user experience through personalized services. Key findings indicate a strong positive relationship in that the easier it is to use an IoT payment system, the more trustful users are that the system is secure. Advanced security features include biometric authentication and encryption to make users’ confidence even more robust. Contactless payment and blockchain-based smart contracts innovatively automate transactions and limit the potential for fraud. This raises data privacy, scalability issues, and regulatory compliances with a large-scale rollout. So, by improving convenience, security-related benefits will enhance user acceptability and satisfaction of payment options powered by the Internet of Things. IoT technology will eventually shape mobile payment in future directions: its growth into smarter financial, efficient financial, and much more secure financial systems for further evolvements. This study deepens the understanding of the interrelation between convenience, security, and trust and throws light on what companies trying to implement IoT technologies in payment systems might learn about improving customer experiences.
