Raw biogas consists of several impurities, like CO2, CO2, siloxanes, NH3, oxygen, moisture, dust, and several other components; the expulsion of these compounds is necessary to obtain biogas that meets the specifications. Various technologies are available through which specific quality biogas could be attained commercially. There are many ways to remove single or multiple compounds from biogas. These processes are similar to the natural gas treatment methods and the processes involved in controlling air pollution. However, research is still underway to further develop and optimize these techniques for their application in biogas upgrades. Every technology has unique advantages and disadvantages. However, no technology is a perfect fit for every circumstance. Gas with the desired valuable quality for a particular application depends on the proper cleaning technology.

摘要
