A Privacy-Preserving Protocol for Secure Marine Data Sharing: Integrating Zero-Knowledge Proofs and Secure Multiparty Computation in Blockchain
摘要
Transmission of sensitive marine data becomes critical when security is concerned as digital advancement grows in marine industries. The traditional blockchain consensus approach along with the decentralized structure remains insufficient to preserve privacy and scalability needs. This paper proposes a privacy-preserving protocol intended to manage the secure transmission of marine data. The proposed work endorsed the integration of zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP) and secure multiparty computation (MPC) in a Blockchain system. ZKP performs verification of marine data while preserving data integrity and MPC facilitates joint computation among blockchain nodes. Hybrid consensus mechanism includes Proof of Stake (PoS) and Byzantine fault tolerance (BFT) to enhance blockchain scalability. PoS confirms the validity of the newly added block and mitigates the energy demands. BFT ensures reliable consensus and performs message exchange to find common agreement. The proposed hybrid evaluation addresses the core issues of security, privacy, and scalability while preserving the robust solution for marine data exchange in a decentralized environment. This protocol provides a privacy-preserving framework to ensure scalability that extends to data-sensitive applications enabling the foundation for an advanced blockchain system integrated with a privacy preserving module.
