Climate change (CC) is a highly regressive and devastating phenomenon, especially in developing nations. Climatological mitigation has to be taken up as a necessary strategy for better survival in the future. Naturally, woody trees are the best option for this process because they are the largest and cheapest factory of carbon mitigation on earth. Among all climate change factors, carbon dioxide (CO2) is the major factor in trapping heat and global warming. Its proper mitigation and sequestration will not only lead to the absorption of CO2 but will also help in releasing O2 to the environment free of cost and shall maintain humidity, which leads to a decrease in temperature and cool down the earth. Many species of trees have been found best for the same process. These trees have drought and heat stress tolerance and can sequester and store carbon and perform hydraulic regulation. Healthy forest ecosystems contribute to sequestering and storing more than 80% of all terrestrial aboveground Carbon and more than 70% of all soil organic carbon. Therefore, to make the earth liveable, planting more trees is required to stop deforestation and should rather follow burlapping.
