Bibliometric Analysis Visualizations in the Field of Mobile Technologies and Migration in High Impact Publications
摘要
This study aims to contribute to the relevant body of knowledge by examining the papers related to mobile technologies focused on migration indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) databases and from a health perspective. VOSviewer was applied to perform the bibliometric analysis of these articles. Public Environmental Occupational Health is the WoS category where these pa pers are indexed more frequently. Evaluative techniques were used in most studies while relational techniques, such as co-word, co-author, co-citation analysis and bibliographic coupling, were performed less. Relational techniques indicate that the word “Mobile phone” is frequently used with “Migrants”, “Immigrants” and “Refugees” together in the studies examined, however there very few studies in this area yet. USA made the most outstanding contribution within this important field through funding agencies. The current growth trends predict a large increase in the number of global publications on apps for migrants and immigrants.
