摘要

This study, currently in its initial phase, explores the underrepresentation of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields, particularly in the automotive sector in Coahuila, Mexico. It identifies persistent gender disparities and proposes innovative strategies to address these challenges. Employing a mixed-methods approach, including foresight techniques like scenario planning, the Delphi method, trend analysis, and innovation methodologies such as TRIZ, Design Thinking, and Lateral Thinking, the study aims to enhance female participation in STEM. Data collection methods, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups, provide comprehensive insights into barriers and facilitators. The study’s contributions align with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on gender equality and quality education. By integrating foresight and innovation, this research develops actionable strategies to promote gender equity and establish a sustainable, scalable model for empowering women in STEM fields, particularly in the automotive industry. This approach supports the long-term goal of fostering inclusivity and diversity in critical technical sectors.
