Seismic Resistance Analysis of High-Rise Buildings Using High Damping Rubber Bearing (HDRB)
摘要
Indonesia as a country prone to natural disasters such as earthquakes often experiances strong vibrations that can cause many buildings to experience damage and even collapse To avoid damage to building structures due to earthquakes, one way that can be done is to use earthquake load absorbers with a base isolation system. The basic idea of this seismic isolation system is to separate the propagation of earthquake vibrations from the ground into the building structure. In this research, the case study reviewed is the new Pegadaian Tower Building located in Central Jakarta. This research examines the problem of how far the use of Elastomeric Bearing Pad affects the dynamic response of building structures with a fixed base comparison when an earthquake occurs. The results of the X-direction fixed base building performance level curve that obtained the target displacement (V,D): V = 1031436.7 kg and D = 0.54 m, the performance level of the fixed base building in the Y direction that obtains the target displacement (V,D): V = 944045 kg and D = 0.828 m, performance level of X-direction HDRB building obtaining target displacement (V,D): V = 521294.7 kg and D = 0.699 m and the Y-direction HDRB did not obtain the displacement target. From these results it can be concluded that the structure is included in the building performance level IO (Immediate Occupancy) based on the ATC-40 performance table, namely there is no damage to structural components but only minor damage to non-structural components.
