Apartments can be lived in by more people only with limited land, which is it can minimize the utilization of green space in order to hold the movement of global warming and flooding disaster. Thus, the apartment is a wise option to determine living nowadays In Indonesia. Whilst, landed house enthusiasts in Indonesia are more significant when compared with apartments and other properties. Moreover, even apartment balconies can cover Space designs that have not been covered in the apartment unit, such as laundry space, clothesline space, and ironing space. Nonetheless, The balcony area is not ideal to cover activity on the balcony. Therefore, it is essential to know the ideal or the appropriate area and also the dimension number of the balcony in Indonesia. This article conducts simulation research by 3D Sketch Up according to the defined Space designs. As a result, after passes the simulation processes that is involving the variable of consumer needs and developer, such as design aspect, maintenance, accessibility, and price, the minimum area of the balcony is 1.62 sq.m. (110 cm × 147 cm) where this area and dimension are able to accommodate the Space designs according to Indonesian apartment dwellers’ needs, namely laundry space, ironing space, clothesline space, and its accessibility according to the related human activity standards.
