The local government has proposed Transjakarta Laut, an integrated sea and land transportation system, to improve accessibility to Kepulauan Seribu and promote sustainable tourism. This study evaluates the economic feasibility of Transjakarta Laut using investment analysis methods such as Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR). Assumptions include a 14% discount rate, a 15-year investment horizon, and an initial investment of IDR 3.075.000.000, with annual operating costs of IDR 768.750.000. Revenue projections consider a 5% yearly tourist growth and periodic ticket price adjustments. The analysis reveals the project’s viability, with an NPV of IDR 601.313.510. an IRR of 14%, and a BCR of 1,09, indicating benefits slightly outweigh the costs. Strategies such as increasing tourist volumes, adjusting dynamic fares, and enhancing operational efficiency are recommended to optimize benefits. This study provides critical insights for stakeholders, including government agencies, port authorities, and transportation operators, to improve sea transport services and support sustainable tourism development. Further research on operational costs, user willingness to pay, and environmental impacts is recommended to ensure long-term project sustainability.
