Several factors often cause road damage to pavement, including over-dimensioning and overloading vehicles. This condition can cause road damage because the overloaded vehicle has a load that is more significant than the allowable load used in the road planning design, so the load can reduce the service life of the road. This research aims to conduct a study to determine road conditions based on the Bina Marga method on roadways with a flexible pavement structure and the Ministry of Public Works and Housing of Indonesia (Bina Marga) to evaluate road conditions and analyze alternative improvements using the 2017 MDP Supplement method. This research aims to assess the labor condition of the Taman-Waru using visual and IRI values. The results showed that the Taman-Waru at KM 13 + 000 to 16 + 000 road section included a periodic maintenance road handling program with types of repairs, such as overlay, thin asphalt coating, and filling surface cracks/cracks (sealing). The result of various kinds of maintenance is the overlay repair alternative. The minimum overlay thickness analysis result based on the IRI value was 40 mm. The thickness of the overlay used maximum deflection data, so the thickness of the layer could not be determined. The thickness of the overlay from the deflection curve value was 70 mm, indicating a thin overlay thickness, while the overlay thickness was also noted to be 80 mm.

摘要
