Three-dimensional laser scanning technology is a new technology that has emerged in recent years and has attracted more and more attention in the research field in China. It makes use of the principle of laser ranging, and by recording the three-dimensional coordinates, reflectivity and texture of a large number of densely packed points on the surface of the object to be measured, the three-dimensional model of the target to be measured as well as the data of various drawings such as lines, surfaces and bodies can be quickly reproduced. As the 3D laser scanning system can densely obtain a large number of data points of the target object, so compared with the traditional single-point measurement, 3D laser scanning technology is also known as the evolution from single-point measurement to the surface measurement of the revolutionary technological breakthrough.
