Cloud gaming, an innovative technology enabling remote game play over the Internet, faces challenges such as latency, bandwidth requirements, and security concerns. Existing platforms like Google Stadia, NVIDIA GeForce, and PlayStation Now offer varied experiences, each with its strengths and weaknesses. WebRTC presents an alternative for real-time communication in gaming but has limitations. This paper proposes advancing cloud gaming technology by integrating Jitsi into the Cloud Game platform. Leveraging Jitsi’s robust real-time communication capabilities, this integration aims to enhance efficiency, scalability, and security in cloud gaming environments. Jitsi’s scalability and end-to-end encryption ensure support for numerous concurrent users while safeguarding sensitive data. Its open-source nature allows for flexibility and customization, appealing to developers seeking innovative gaming experiences. By showcasing Jitsi’s integration, this research contributes to the evolution of cloud gaming, paving the way for improved user experiences and driving further innovation in the field.
