In truck systems, braking is particularly critical for the safety performance of the vehicle. In order to improve the braking performance to ensure the safety of heavy vehicles, this study focuses on the optimization of front wheel brakes in medium trucks. Choose the disc brake, for its key parameters such as friction coefficient, braking force distribution coefficient, maximum torque, shaft load optimization calculation, completed the parts, including brake disc, brake clamp drawings and three-dimensional model, using ANS YS to part parts simulation analysis, to complete the medium truck brake brake performance improvement, to ensure the safety of the vehicle. It provides a solution for the current brake performance improvement, and also provides a reference for the future design of the truck brake system.
