Experimental Study on Electro-Hydraulic Cooperative Braking by Wire Safety Performance of Mining Electric Vehicles

The dynamic performance of explosion-proof brake by wire affects the safety of the electric vehicles. Analyze the composition of wet brake by wire system. Research the key technologies which affects the safety of braking system as response time and distribution ratio between electric brake and hydraulic brake. Through design the simulation model of the brake by wire system, modify and test the electro-hydraulic system in the prototype. The results shows that the electro-hydraulic cooperative braking can effectively reduce the rear axle braking response time of mining electric vehicles by wire, solve the braking time difference between the front and rear axles, shorten the overall response time by 0.41 s, improve the safety of mining electric vehicles. The study provides a fast and effective solution for the practical engineering application of wire controlled braking of mining electric vehicles, establish a foundation for accelerating the intelligent development of mining electric vehicles.
