This research examines the challenges of government primary rural schools in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, focusing on enriching student learning outcomes. The study demonstrates that the degree to which digital learning technologies are utilized drastically differs between modern and primary rural schools. Importantly, as noticed by the principal investigator, being aware of and utilizing interactive teaching methods; practical utilization of knowledge; and using local languages are worth examining more broadly and have crucial implications for embedded learning experiences that enhance learning opportunities. The central premise of the findings suggest that even in rural settings where more direct teaching practices dominate, there is a strong preference for interactive teaching as students think the learning would be better if their teachers used practices based on their interpretation of practice. Other case studies reflect practices using board games to improve academic and social skills in children. Contextual inquiry experiments provide the rationale for hands-on experimentation, outdoor education, peer teaching, and–storytelling, Illustration are crucial for creating stimulating and engaging learning experiences. While there are some current school practices, with guest lectures and group-based projects, students still report less than adequate instructional experiences as seen in the use of their local language. The research takes cognizance of the need for dedicated offline interactive learning aids to enhance subject understanding and engage students away from screens, given the extent to which screens and screen content dominate rural primary school-aged students. The present study examines the gamification of existing academic practices, focusing on enhancing the understanding of subject content for rural primary students in the study area. The outcome of this paper may improve students’ classroom engagement and overall learning experience.
