Today’s era is AI era. Artificial intelligence is playing major roles in design education. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in design education is a compelling and transformative topic. In recent days, Generative AI has evolved in a way that has changed how we design work. Generative AI is one of the hottest topics and from developing content and finding answers to creating artwork, it’s all possible now with Generative AI. Generative artificial intelligence technologies such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT chatbot and AI image creators Adobe, Dall E 2 and MidJourney have boomed in the past year. Worldwide Design Education institutions incorporating the AI chapters in their curriculum. AI technologies, such as machine learning and generative design are reshaping the way students learn and practice design. They offer new tools for creativity, design automation, and problem-solving. Our major objective of the research is to investigate how AI has impacted in design education in India toward creativity, productivity, efficiency, psychology, and ethical aspects toward responsible AI. The findings will shed light on the opportunities and challenges in preparing future designers for a technology-driven world.
