Design classroom encourages learning in a variety of methods, allowing educators and students to share their visualizations into representations. The design process is an important aspect of every design studio. It allows students to explore a variety of approaches to design or design in general. Static, dynamic, and interactive graphics and pictures have served as a means of communication in nearly every design field. The residential design studio is an essential component of the interior design program. It focuses on habitable places as well as comprehending communities, individuals, and their daily activities. Every resident has a set of activities that outline a narrative. Comprehension of the activities enhances its intricacies. It is critical to weave a detailed outline of the different parts. Studio techniques improve students’ participation and visualization skills. Initial ideas include words and numerals. Visual story enhances meaning by connecting the images to add connections and relationships. It enhances additive learning by mapping routines and using different means of representation to convey meaning. The following research proposes an interdisciplinary approach to enhancing the design process. Further, the research discusses a case study of one such design process from its inception of a simple image to an entire visual story and its importance as an essential requirement for the residence design studio. It focuses on the creation of activity mapping based on character development to comprehend the responsibilities of residents in their living settings. The visual story is an outcome of all the steps that become a starting point for design development in the residence design studio. The study seeks to determine the influence of creating visuals step by step to weave a visual story.
