Guru Shankardeva holds a significant role in shaping Assam’s cultural and spiritual heritage. His teachings greatly influence the people’s beliefs and practices. Despite extensive documentation in literature, there is a lack of visual representation of his narratives. The absence of visuals raises concern, especially considering the growing disconnection of the younger generation from their cultural practices. Traditional storytelling struggles to engage visually oriented young audiences, risking the preservation of valuable heritage. This paper proposes a narrative framework attempting to showcase one of the divine plays of Shankardeva with the fusion of animation and fantasy art. The approach includes literature review, on-site visits, interaction with Assamese writers, leveraging animation and fantasy art to visually interpret the divine play. A survey among 80 young participants, exhibited positive responses on the animation’s depiction of spiritualism. The resulting narrative effectively merges fantasy art and animation to represent Shankardeva’s spiritualism and divine play.
