Paraplegia, often known as paralysis below the waist, typically affects the hips, legs, and other body parts. The reality of paraplegia differs from person to person and sometimes, from day to day. More than a billion crippled persons suffer from paraplegia worldwide at this time. These individuals primarily use wheelchairs for short distances with assistance from another person. Wheelchair users have a variety of difficulties daily, from environmental obstacles to physical limits. These difficulties may have to do with social connections, accessibility, or even mental health. In comparison, the power wheelchair is heavier and more expensive. This works well for short distances and has a very slow pace. Wheelchair users will benefit from the demand for greater speed and greater distance as it will increase their comfort and self-assurance. The project focuses on designing and building a vehicle that can accommodate a wheelchair and go farther while maintaining greater comfort and safety.
