China, as the world's largest developing nation, plays a pivotal role in shaping global sustainable development through the formulation of its ESG policies and regulatory framework. This chapter conducts a thorough examination of China's “Dual Carbon” strategy and ESG policies then analyses the synergies and complementarities between them.
