A Study of Fujian-Taiwan Tile Based on Factor Analysis Method and Triangular Fuzzy Number

Originally a foreign object, flower tiles were once a symbol of wealth and status in Fujian and Taiwan. Through the changes of time, flower tiles have evolved into a unique and precious cultural heritage of Fujian and Taiwan. The purpose of this study is to explore the visual intention evaluation of traditional flower tiles styles in Fujian and Taiwan and to quantitatively analyze the user's intention by setting up questionnaires through factor analysis and triangular fuzzy theory, so as to establish the correspondence between the flower tiles styles and users’ psychology, and to summarize the correlation between the flower tiles styles in Fujian and Taiwan and the users’ psychological feelings. Based on the results of this study, it can provide modern designers and consumers with the intention of designing and selecting the style of Fujian-Taiwan flower tiles to provide reference and contribute to the modern application and style innovation of flower tiles.
