The future advanced aero-engine takes high thrust-to-weight ratio, lightweight and high performance as the development goal, which poses a challenge to aviation materials and processing technology. This paper reviews the development and application status of aero-engine materials and manufacturing processes, and puts forward the development direction of aviation materials and manufacturing processes in the future, laying a foundation for the research and development of advanced aero-engines.
