This chapter studies two inverse problems of determining the convolution kernel from the fractional diffusion equation. In Sect. 6.1, an inverse problem of determining a kernel in a one-dimensional integro-differential time-fractional diffusion equation with initial-boundary and overdetermination conditions is investigated. First an auxiliary problem which is equivalent to the original problem is introduced. By the Fourier method this auxiliary problem is reduced to equivalent integral equations.
