Basic structures of the system dynamics models are explained using stock and flow diagrams. First, the co-flow model is introduced. The Bass diffusion model, SIR model, and aging chain model follow with stock and flow diagrams, equations, and graphs. These models form the basis of the complex model building of the systems thinking approach in public health. Readers are advised to practice making the models using the software.
