A causal loop diagram is a qualitative model of the systems thinking approach. Loops are made by connecting variables by a link. Polarity of the link is based on the relationships between the quantitative changes in two variables. A causal loop diagram of a population model, which is converted from its stock and flow diagram in Chap. 3 , is introduced. A description of loops is provided in this book.
